I had this problem a long time ago when I first set up Hyperspin. If I recall correctly it was a problem with the desktop window manager service. Try disabling the service to see if that is the cause.

The longer the games running the longer it takes

10min game play =28 secs to menu

20min game play =59 secs to menu

Thanks for the advice I went to this site and followed the instructions to turn a few things off in the background I think the main thing was the wifi program
