Sakamanno Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Hi all. I'm building my MAME cabinet, Hyper-Spin is going to be my frontend. I found those "spinners" - that rotational joysticks of arkanoid and etc. link: http://www.ultimarc.com/SpinTrak.htm Could i use one of these to control the wheel of hyper spin? I'm very curious about the possibilities, maybe someone can give me a tip. Well, i will check the answers. Thanks. Warm regards.
Dazz Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Yes, you can use a spinner to control the wheel in HyperSpin.
Sakamanno Posted February 15, 2009 Author Posted February 15, 2009 That's good! Thanks for the answer!
ralf5543 Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 My apologies if I 'm using this topic from 2009, but if it does exist... Yes, you can use a spinner to control the wheel in HyperSpin. Can you tell us how ? Actually, my wheel is turning too fast, only to the bottom, and by fits and starts. Long story short : it doesn't work. PS : my PC is quite powerfull, so I don't think the latence or something like that is the cause.
zerojay Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Sounds like the same issues people have with joysticks and Hyperspin. Our solution for that is to use keyboard only and use Xpadder to send keypresses when joystick is pressed. Keeps the wheel under control. No idea if you can do that with a spinner, however.
