module for CPS3 - ahk error - looking for guidence

Hello Team,

 

  I am attempting to inatall CP3 Emulator v1.0.a (Nebula)

 

I've gone through the basics:

added new emulator (called CPS3) under Global-emulator in HL-HQ

added Capcom Play System III - under systems

Selected correct rom path in emulator under Capcom System 3 system

Selected CPS3 as default emulator

 

I go to game, run audit, they are all there:

I go to Launch through hyperlaunch and it says:

 

 

Cannot Find: C:yHperspin\Hyperlaunch\modules\CPS3\CPS3.ahk.

You don't have hyperlaunch module for CPS3.

Please create or check hyperlist.

 

 

Is there any guides out there on how to create the AHK or anything of that nature.

Any help is appreciated

 

 (as a note, I tried to use mame  (v0.159), and it starts to load the game  load screen in mame then exits back out to HL-HQ ..but that is another issue in itself.

Run it through MAME. It works fine for me.

 

Add the system name "Capcom Play System III" to the MAME module by opening up the MAME module in Notepad and editing it under the MSystem section of the ahk.

 

Then when you next open up Hyperlaunch/Rocketlauncher MAME will show up as the default emulator.

I went to  Hyperspin/Modules and opened the mame folder. There are 3 ahk files:

MAME.AHK

MAME( MAM​EUI .140 BBB 1.0).ahk

MAME (MAM​E .140 BBB 1.0).ahk

 

none of the make a reference to MSystem settings

Open the first one you listed with notepad.

Find the section that begins with MSystem (it is at the top) and you will see a list of systems each with "......" around them.

Add "Capcom Play System III" to the end of that list.

Close and save it.

Thanks for the info, I went ahead and updated HLHQ to RL along with the update pack. I'm updating the version for mame now and am going to work, for awhile, on updating my rom pack (it's like .001).

 

The one ? I have now is, for some reason when I launch a rom in mame, it will not let me select the F1 key to go to the options menu.  F2 , enter, etc.. all work, just no F1

i'm running .166

now, any clue on why my Satan's hollow rom is shot?

I attempted to run it through the prompt to find the exact error and it says:

82s123.12D NOT FOUND (tried in shollow midssio)

got it going

see what just a little effort does for me

i picked up the MIDSSIO and added it to the Rom folder

runds like a pup now

 

..odd how it looks to find data in another file/rom to run it
