Shanenashley
Hey was wondering if anyone purchased these from paradise arcade? http://www.paradisearcadeshop.com/led-joysticks/812-short-jlf-rgb-shaft-kit-w-slip-ring.html I have them but not sure how to install them. I bought a paceled64 boardhttp://www.ultimarc.com/pacled64.html and rgb buttons from Ultimarc and was very simple to wire up. Then I tried to wire the balltops to it and they are not working. I did just notice that the website says I will need resistors for them. Has anyone messed with this and if so how did you set it up? Thanks
rebelmaveric19
I have the same joysticks. The black wire goes to 12+ and each color RGB goes to a ground signal. I made little boards with 1000ohm 1/4watt resistors to Red and 820ohm 1/4watt resistors to Green and Blue. If you wired them up straight to 12 volts w/o a resistor you may have blown the led. I did that too and went to radioshack and bought another rgb led and soldered it in myself. I have mine wired up to a LEDWiz though.

rebelmaveric19
The beige resistor is red and the blue resistor is blue and green. Radioshack has the little project boards for like $2 i think..
