Joecrow Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 I'm using the latest version of kega fusion on windows 7 64bit. I've defined my control config while running the program independently yet each time I close and reopen the program it is resetting to defaults. Any ideas how I set the config permanently? Thanks in advance Joe
Deadly Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Set your controls and then try setting the Fusion.ini file attributes to read only.

Deadly Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Browse to your fusion folder, right click the fusion.ini file, properties, set the attribute to read only. Save.
Joecrow Posted September 22, 2013 Author Posted September 22, 2013 According to my computer i dont have that file. the prgram isnt installed on my pc it just runs as it is.
Deadly Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Kega Fusion doesn't write windows registry because it doesn't use an installer so it won't show up as a program. You need to manually browse your hard drive to where Kega Fusion resides. This was a file you downloaded and unzipped somewhere. I would assume it's some where within hyperspin right? .\hyperspin\emulators\(where ever you put it) You had to setup the fusion model in HLHQ - you had to give it a path to the EXE (or maybe you haven;t gotten that far yet). Not sure what else to tell you. Look for it - it's there.
stonebuzz Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Hello, I have the same, when i configure my controler all is well, hte controler work fine. But when i start keg Fusion all configuration (controller , general , video etc..) is lost. You talk about to make fusion.ini in readonly mod , but but when i configure my controller i have fusion.ini open in notepad++ and he did not tell me that the file has changed. Yet there line regarding the configuration. someone has managed to keep the permanent configuration ?? best regards and escuse my for my English.
aj82 Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 This probably isnt the best, or proper way to do it but the way i managed to get it to save was by setting the controls then going to file and clicking save state (f5)... worked for me
