How can I use an XBOX controller?

Hey guys, so I am dying to get my XBOX controller connected to Windows 10.  I bought a mayflash adapter, but the drivers it came with (and on the site) didn't do anything...

So I am wondering if anyone else has this working? I'd love to use this is it was basically the last 6 button controller ever made.

Just to be clear, I'm talking about an XBOX controller, not Xbox 360 or Xbox One.

I did some searching on those drivers, and it sounds like they might do the trick. It's so hard to tell if somethings compatible with Windows 10 though...

I sure hope so....

Trying to find a 6 button controller with 4 shoulder buttons, 2 joysticks, and both start & select buttons has proven to be absolutely impossible. The closest I can find is the old Duke Controller, since they moved the white/black buttons on the S model.
