j5coat Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 +1 unless your going to run some serious PC games that's way more than you need. I have an older i5 2600k not even over clocked and a gtx970 and it plays any game I want including all of my PC games ( hitman agent 47 and battlefield 4) at high fps. No matter what plan on getting a better cpu cooler because the stock one is useless. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
C_Wilson009 Posted June 15, 2016 Author Posted June 15, 2016 Maybe it's just me, but you seem to be going a bit overboard with this build. You don't need nearly as much power as you think you do. The most demanding game I have is GTA 5 and I can run it with everything maxed out on a GForce GTX960, i5 2500k (overclocked to 4.5GHz) and 8GB or ram. I don't even have liquid cooling. I'm using a Hyper 212 EvO cpu cooler. The computer is 5 years old. Only the video card is more recent. haha yeah ur probably right. I want to potentially handle VR as well. I just havn't in my life been able to crank all of my games graphics to max and I really want to do that lol
