bubsy54 Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 I was wondering if anyone was familiar with both of these and which one seems to be the better option. From what I understand, in order to get analog controls on my PS3 controller when connected to windows, i need to run the DS3 Tool before starting HyperSpin. SCP DS3 Tool eliminates the need for that, but stops L2 and R2 from functioning properly. Which one is better to use? Or is there a way to have analog controls without running DS3 Tool or L2 and R2 function within SCP DS3 Tool? Thanks
leperwdup Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Honestly Avoid using DS3 Tool and Motionjoy driver. I have tested and used every program/driver out there for getting Playstation controller working with PC and honestly almost all of them suck or come with hidden problems. The best option for setting up your PS3/PS4 controller on windows is using the Xinput wrapper for DS3 by Scarlet.Crush. Its well supported, has no adware, updated constantly and everything works flawlessly without requiring bloatware. Here is the link to it. You can also get the middle PS button working using this guide here. Enjoi
