boohiss Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 I recently redid my control panel and installed 2 LEDwiz boards, with half of the controls on one and half on the other. For some reason, when I start an emulator in Hyperspin there is always a small chance that it will ONLY light up buttons to LEDwiz board #2, and NONE to board #1. It has never happened the other way around, with #1 lighting up and not #2. The chance of this happening is around 1/10 or so. I have not seen it happen in MAME, but it seems to happen with any emulator I try. Anybody have an idea what is going on? Everything installed is up to date (Hyperspin, Hyperlaunch, newest LEDblinky, etc.). Oh, and yes one is labeled device 1, and the other device 2. Update: I was able to reverse it by switching USB slots connected to the PC. Probably a USB power issue? Going to go out and grab an externally powered USB hub to confirm. Edit2: Yup, answered my own question. It definitely needed that powered USB hub. Should have known, but at least it's fixed .
