It has to do with the multiple bin files. HL is probably just picking the bin files over the cue files. Maybe an easier way to fix this is to remove bin from the list of extensions. Or move cue before bin. I believe it is probably trying to load the first bin file, which in the case of multiple bins, is probably a track. If you can get it to load the cue first, you will not have to re-do all your roms. Understood, but that still doesn't rule out the order for your HL. When loading the roms outside HS, are you loading the bin or cue files?? If there are multiple bins, you have to load the cue. If only one bin, then that one bin has all the tracks in it (or it's a single track disk). Therefore it would work if you loaded the bin or the cue. Same in HyperSpin. If you loaded a bin file for a rom that has multiple bin files, I would imagine it would not work at all. For that same rom, if the cue file was good, it would work if you loaded the cue from the emulator or if HL loaded the cue before it tried to load the bin. Hope this makes sense. Thanks, Ron I ruled that out and have HL set to only use cue with 7z enabled and all the single bin games (with matching cue) have no problem. I extracted about 5 individual games with multi bin and tried launching the cue directly from Mednafen and they wouldn't launch. The single bin files launched no issue (I stopped testing after 5 or so again). Mednafen doesn't even have bin as an extension for me and I don't remember removing it but it's possible. Anyways I've still had a few games that have issues after conversion to single bin but I haven't done any further testing on the matter as converting seems to have about 80-90% success.

Mr_Numbers Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Do you have many to convert? Thanks, Ron I got the complete set of games from somewhere and it seems maybe 1/5 games are multi-bin. I was already trying to convert them from rar just to save space so it'll probably be awhile. I might just get lazy and go to PD but figured since I have them already I might as well just convert. Either way thanks for your guides as they helped me setup some of my other systems.
