Hyperspin not displaying video .MP4 MAME 0.176 snaps

I cannot get Hyperspin to displaying 0.176 MP4 video snaps,i can hear the sound but no video display on any game Themes............But my 0.173 FLV work fine....if i go into MAME,media,video i can click on any video file and they play fine....but normally being MP4 you can see the video before it plays,but i only see the VLC orange cone before i play it........any ideas anyone....thank you

They are also extremely low res with wacky resolutions.
