Hi,

Is there anyway I can set a default video for a specific system?

I tried to put a Default.mp4 into HyperSpin\Media\Nintendo Wii U\Video\ but that didn't work.

What name should I use for the default video or it is even possible at all?

If you are referring to the videos when selecting a system, mame, Nintendo entertainment system, Sega genesis, etc. Then place it inside hyperspin/media/main menu/video/Nintendo Wii u.mp4.

Name the intro video exactl y as the system is spelled out, Nintendo Wii U in this case

Thanks.  I'm referring to the game video when you select a game inside a system.  If no video is available then I want to use a default video for that game.  I know there's a video in the FrontEnd folder that apply globally to all games on any system.  What I'm looking for is default video for the specific system.  Is that possible?

You can change the default video that is shown whenever there isn't a video for a game.... i forget what the actual default video was but I believe it's just static.. there is the fix me felix one that somebody made that had the out of order sign which was cool. you can't set a specific system default video... like say have some generic atari video for atari or some generic nintendo video for nes. whatever default video you use will be shown for every system whenever a game video isn't available.

For some time I used the commercial for Xarcade because it kinda looked cool at first but then after a while it seemed like a lame infomercial.

Goto into /media/frontend and replace no video.mp4 with your own video.. you have to rename the file to No Video... this video file will be loaded whenever you don't have a game video on any system.

Also I'm not sure if this hasn't been updated in the new version of HS.. perhaps you can now add a default no video for each system but last I heard you can't

Thanks Rastan. I'm aware of the No Video.mp4 file that can use globally. I guess there's no system specific default video for now. Hope that it'll be available in future releases.
