BBBrennaNNN Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 when i view my game list at rlauncher, it is green but when i try to run my game through rlauncher, this error pops up. could not find "game" inside the archive with any defined rom extensions. check if you are missing the correct rom extension for this rom for retroarch's extensions, enable roms match extensions, or correct the file name inside the archive. please help! thanks a ton!

The file inside the archive for the game you are launching - doesn't match one of the file extensions set for the emulator.
BBBrennaNNN Posted August 18, 2016 Author Posted August 18, 2016 meaning i have to change the file name from the emulator (retroarch in my case) to match the file name in rlauncher/my roms folder?
Guest Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 meaning i have to change the file name from the emulator (retroarch in my case) to match the file name in rlauncher/my roms folder? No, you need to see what file extension the rom has inside the zip file. First, I'd unzip all the roms and rename the unzipped files to match the database. It would help if you could be more specific. Logs, screenshots and details of the system, emulator and roms you have would be useful.

Genesis roms are all single file roms - that is to say one file per game. So the zips you have must contain many games inside of them.

Yeah, so they are different dumps for the same game. Check your PMs.
