MameUI64 .176 - Input layout

Hello everyone,

 

I'm using MameUI64 for my .176 mame rom set.

 

The issue is that I have an X-arcade tank stick and I'm trying select the x-arcade.cfg file under Controllers > default input layout, but I only have the "default" option available.

 

All the cfg files are under the ctrlr folder and all parameters are pointing correctly in the ini file.

 

I even tried to change it in the .ini file manually but no luck.

 

I was going to send an email to mameui but they don't have any contact info

 

Any ideas?

 

if it's a bug, can I just use a an earlier version of mameui64?  like .175 or 174?  I know .146 does not have this issue.

i noticed same thing.  in Mame64 i also could not change the controller settings from within the games. When i hit Tab an go to controller settings the options are all the way at the bottom of the screen.

 

i ended up going back to Mameuifx 175 and thins work normally.

Which version of mameui64 did you try?  175? or 176?

Mame64 and MameUI version 175 were fine.  176 broke my Xarcade settings and i could not find a way to fix.

Has anyone else experienced the same controller issues with their X-Arcade Tankstick after upgrading to .176?    Even with the proper XML files, that issue is still on going.

Just an update:

 

Until they fix it in Mame, i went back to MameUI64 version .175 and it allowed me to select the xarcade config.  It's working now.

 

Now if I could only get hyperspin to work with the xarcade properly.
