HQ crashes when choosing rom folder

When I am in HQ and I go to select a rom folder the app crashes.  I can manually edit the ini file and it shows up but I am wondering if there is a larger issue going on.

 

Here is my build:

i3-6300 3.8GHz

Gigabyte GA-B150M-DS3H

Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 16GB 2 x 8GB DDR4-2400 PC4-19200

Sandisk X300 256GB M.2

WD 500GB HD

 

I have this issue with a fresh download of hyperspin with the latest update applied also.

This is a known bug with Win 10. Sometimes it'll work when running as admin, or in compatibility mode, but usually you'll need to edit the ini files by hand.

 

They're in \HyperSpin\Settings. The line you're looking for is "rompath" and it's near the top. For example, my file is set to rompath=C:\Arcade\ROMs\MAME\
