AuronBlade Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Hi guys, I don't speak english so well. Anyway, I need help. The problem is that I have a romset of Atari 2600 with a system name like this, (example with pacman rom) "Pac-Man (1982) (Atari).bin", but the name system for Hyperspin is like this: "Pac-Man (Atari) (USA)". that is to say, "hyperspin" uses only name and country for the file names, and the romset that i have, and that the usual TOSEC name system comes with name, year, version, and so on. Due to this difference Hyperspin cannot find the roms. How I could rename my romsets (not one by one ) for the hyperspin name system, or at least, at where i could find the romsets with the correct names? I have been using romcenter to check the right names, but the database of romcenter uses the same name system that i have

I have been using romcenter to check the right names, but the database of romcenter uses the same name system that i have You need to use a program like HyperTools (available in the downloads section) which will take a HyperSpin XML game list and a rom folder and will rename the roms based on the list.
AuronBlade Posted September 16, 2016 Author Posted September 16, 2016 OK! Thanks a lot! And I'm on it! You made my Day!
Near76 Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Any chance someone can post a database that is matched to the ROM sets currently available for the Atari 2600? I have yet to find one that matches the database that comes with Hyperspin and would prefer not to mess around with the tool application if I don't have to. For some reason this has proven to be the most difficult console to configure. Thanks in advance!
