Tool to merge xml data

Hi,

 

throughout time, I have created several XML files form my roms directories using Don's tools. Because of that, many of them do not include genre, year and other metadata included in the official HS databases. I was thinking I could use a tool to merge official metadata into my XMLs (for those games that match games, of course).

 

does anyone know a tool I could use for this (I've look through my tools collection and could not find anything interesting)? I realize I could try to code something, but my skills and time are limited.
