Tomkun Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Hi. I am having a strange issue with XPadder where if it is started via RocketLauncher with two controllers connected, it won't detect any input until I open the XPadder window and press a button on one of the controllers. This is making it impossible for me to use XPadder for any 2 player games. It happens even if the second controller is not used, but the issue doesn't occur when I have only one controller connected. I am using Windows 10 pro (Anniversary update installed, unfortunately), the latest version of XPadder (2016.05.01) and two Xbox One controllers. Could anyone, regardless of OS, XPadder version or controller brands, test this out for me? I'd like to narrow down where the issue is. I'd have posted over at the XPadder forum, but I cannot sign up there for some reason. Thanks!

Tomkun Posted September 20, 2016 Author Posted September 20, 2016 I've seen a lot of people say similar, but I've already shelled out for xpadder and I don't really want to shell out for joy2key as well. Thanks for the tip though.

Have it setup with 8 controllers connected to my system (2 of them are xbox controllers) plus guns and wii motes and it doesn't skip a beat. I can't say I have it launched via rocket launcher though... Mine is booted via windows at startup then rocket launcher just opens the profiles I created. I don't use windows 10 or xbox one controllers so that could be the issue too but I really doubt it. Try launching xpadder before going into hyperspin and see what happens.
Tomkun Posted September 20, 2016 Author Posted September 20, 2016 If I open it manually it works as expected. It's only when it's opened minimised that it fails. I'll try having it open on startup and see if that helps. Thanks for the tip!
epayson85 Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 I have it start with windows minimized so that really shouldn't be the issue. It should technically work launched via rocket launcher but it just makes more sense to just always have it running.
