Dabil Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 I am using the gigapig hyperspin build on my Windows 10 laptop. After a Windows 10 update yesterday I noticed my control pad quit working in hyperspin. During the intro video when hyperspin first starts up if I press anything on the pad it will kill the video, but none of the controls do anything in hyperspin. I tried reconfiguring everything again in hyperHQ, making sure the enable joy stick check box was ticked. Verified was using the correct id. Not really sure what else to do. Control pad still works in all emulators. Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas? Will test build on my Windows 7 PC when I get a chance to see if it really is a win 10 issue. Dabil Posted September 29, 2016 Author Posted September 29, 2016 It's a Logitech F310 controller. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
unrealcypher Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 I just updated to the anni update in Win10 and my controllers immediately stopped working. I can set them in Hyperhq.... and HyperHQ detects them and detects the buttons but the controller seems to kind of work. Only the select button works for some reason. It seems that the anni update broke it.
clownstyle Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 I'm using a 360 pad and have the same issue. Can we just remove the update to fix this or does anyone have a workaround?
Dabil Posted October 15, 2016 Author Posted October 15, 2016 I noticed in mine that once I enter and leave a game, my controller will work. Is that the same with you guys? Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
Reliant73 Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 This has happened to me as well, definitely looks like something in the Win 10 Anniversary update broke it. I tried going in to a game and out again and my A and B keys started to work again but that was all that worked Unfortunately you do not seem to be able to roll back the update, But I might try restoring one of my backups if I can be bothered!
clownstyle Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 No other fixes for this yet? It's a massive problem that is making Hyperspin unusable for me
ninja2bceen Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Joytokey is probably best here. Bluetooth is also busted in win 10 as of now unless you install drivers after each reboot

daf77 Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 Same probleme here after the win10 update 1607. I use a XboxOne Wireless and a Xbox360 wired pad. Xinput does not work in Hyperspin. Starting a game and going out, the A and B button work again. Like Reliant73 description it. So, i can not play Forza 3 and Hyperspin on the same system. Thank you windows. Will there be a fix in the future? Moderators?
Guest Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 HS joystick support isn't great. Use a key mapper like joytokeySent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
