nobbygreen
hi there everyone. im relatively new to Hyperspin and rocket launcher. i have installed them both as per Austins video to the button. but ive used the latest version. and not the 1.4 stable as its no longer in the download area. im having trouble when i come to audit the roms. i have put the correct paths etc, but it keeps saying 0 roms found of however many are in the databases. when i loaded and updated the program it came up with a flash and asked me to change certain folders? which i didnt do (because i was unsure how to). is this the reason for the roms not showing? or am i missing something else? would really appreciate a heads up. by the way, hypersin runs fine, just stuck with the roms. i have tried with both sega genisis, and mame, but get the same problem. thanks in advance. BATTLEDONKEY
Do your rom names match the database? If they are zipped is the rom within the zip folder named correctly?
nobbygreen
yes the names match, what i did is put all the zipped roms in a folder called sega roms, and pointed to them in the RLui. just cant get my head round it, unless i have to have them in a zipped folder as well? BATTLEDONKEY
I also used Simply Austin's videos to set up originally and had no issues, so it sounds like ur missing a step, do you have a default emulator selected for the system? You might need to post a troubleshooting log to see if anything shows up in it. Also, since you followed Austin's videos to set up, make sure you watch his video titled "Hyperspin Warning". As there was an update to rocketlauncher which changes a few things that need to be updated from his previous videos
