xml and roms

Hey Guys,

 

I have done a heap in the last week of adding a heap of wheels and roms but why is it that in the wheels when we audit the games we find that we have 6107 of 8120 games when you see inside the roms pack you have them but they don't register in the audit window.. Where is best to get the complete matching roms from for each xml files

 

even after I have them and they are coloured green in my rocketlauncher I click to play and they hardly work correctly..

 

After all the work putting things together I think its actually harder to get the roms to match the xml file and actually work even when you use dons renaming tools they don't match anyway...

I wonder why people who have them all set up don't upload there packs and xml so everyone can get 100percent working..

What system roms are you trying to match I use turmatcher but be careful with disk based games It will rename the games but theirs a .cue file in there you would need to open it with note pad and rename it just a heads up for think it's a good idea posting in this section.

C64 and amiga roms are the ones I really want to get up and going... All the mame and classics wheels are working fine but c64 and amiga.

I found a free program called bulk renaming utility. I found it intuitive and excellent to use to rename a bunch of files when needed. It won't match xml files but it still has some uses. Check it out if you find the need to rename a bunch of files.
