Can I use Tab for exit key in Hyperspin?

I have an Ipac and I have an exit button plugged into 2A on the Ipac, which registers as Tab.  When I go into HyperHQ when I try to set the exit key, and I hit my exit button (or Tab from the keyboard) it Tabs rather than registers as an exit key.  Is there a way I can override this?

Thanks very much I was able to do this and it works great.  The best part is I have confirm exit turned on with mame if I say no it then goes to the mame options menu so I get the best of both worlds, for me it's the perfect solution.  Thanks again
