Hyperspin massive issues

Hey guys,

 

Sorry to spam the boards for help but I have been offline for a few weeks... Anyway onto my question

 

I have built my hyper spin with 30 wheels from you tube tutorials with simply Austin.. I have had no real issues with my Hyper spin setup... anyway I have it all on my external hard drive, I was playing Nintendo yesterday with x box 360   controller and the dongle connected to my laptop..

 

Now today when I load up hyper spin it takes forever to load up and when or if it does load up I see the wheels but when I press return on say sega genesis it goes into then straight back out to main hyper spin wheel.. I have looked at all wheels and there is only 2 wheels that actually work to go in and see the games and even then when I go in and try and load up the games they don't even try and load ..

 

I went to rocket launcher and they work in there...

 

The only thing I can think is that today I connected a few other external hard drives to watch some stuff today... I cant remember if the hyper spin external was called (E) drive because now I see it as (F) drive, and I cant remember if this is just my imagination..

 

Its really bugging me a few days back I remembered it did it once before and I went into either hyper spin or rocket launcher and copied all the gaming folders into another folder and it worked again.

 

I am just agitated and trying to see if any of you guys have had this issue before

Hey thanks guys,

So far I check Hyper HQ and seen that all my paths for videos and roms were (E) drive so I changed them all to this (F) drive and now I can see them and the videos all play

 

My only issue is when I hit Return they do not play even when I went back to rocket launcher and played them  Am I missing anything else ? should I have to change anything in rocket launcher....

 

I am moving into a new place and being stuffed around by an internet provider so I still have limited internet that is why I am on and off sporadic times..

 

I think that when I was watching other Externals it changed the drive letter on my hyper spin external hard drive so I have changed everything in Hyper HQ but still think I need to maybe do something in rocketlauncher...

 

 

One more thing everything is now slooooow as like when I click on hyperspin it takes ages to load up when before I would click hyper spine .exe and it would kick off in a matter of secs and now it takes like 1 min..

 

any help will be appreciated to get this going

Thanks buddy I just scrolled up the threads and saw something in the new updates for anyone on windows and just fixed that issue with slow and lagging program start ups.. so I saw my previous exceptions were on (E) drive and now I just had to swap with the new drive letter and it works perfect.. I will go back to rocket launcher and do what ya suggested will let ya know

Phew I was getting worried for a second

 

so far I have updated all the new paths in Hyper Hq also changed the path for Hyperlaunch_Path in the HyperSpin/Settings/Settings.ini

and then I have changed my anti virus because of lagging issues

 

You guys have once again fixed everything
