Is there a tutorial on how to setup this emulator? I am not sure the issue I have. Retroarch automatically loads the first path in the m3u so the first path will always be the disc you are loading. For example, Final Fantasy VII has 3 discs and if you load Disc 2 first, the order of the paths in the m3u will be disc 2, disc 3, disc 1. If you load Disc 3 first, the order will be disc 3, disc 1, disc 2. The module anticipates this and will load the correct disk, selected from the Pause/MultiDisk menus. However if you choose to manually use Retroarch's UI or disk swap keys to change discs, you will need to keep this in mind. ; In order for RocketLauncher's MultiGame UI to swap discs, you must define Eject_Toggle_Key, Next_Disk_Key, and Previous_Disk_Key under global settings for the emulator in RocketLauncher. demonseed Posted January 19, 2017 Author Posted January 19, 2017 Hey\Thanks for the idea. So I tried Unrarring a game Aa! Megami Sama (Japan) (Disc 1).. and noticed the bin, cue files were not named right. I renamed them both to match the database. I also opened the cue and edited the file name there too. When I run the game It says retroarch only supports ccd and cue files not bin and gives me an error. I tried match ext on and off but it makes no difference. How can retro arch run a cue but not a bin they work together? Any ideas?
demonseed Posted January 19, 2017 Author Posted January 19, 2017 I know forsure the bin is before cue. I have changed it and tried again. Now when I run any game I get the system "PC Engine Supersystem" screen.if I hit load it says unable to load..?? wrong bios maybe? I checked under the module settings and the core I have set is mednafen_pce_fast_libretro.. is that wrong>? I tried NEC-PCFX core.. but now it freezes and loads nothing.. here is my config if anyone has any suggestions. I quickly set up mednafen and it worked, not how I want it but pretty good. I always see the Commmand prompt window flash up before the emulator starts and on exit. I have played with the fade in and out with some luck. The fade in seems to have the command box gone however fade out refuses to work. I also tried Hide emulator, but it still pops up. I can not remember how to hide the CMD box... I prefer retro arch if it will work.. that being said I opened retroarch loaded the NEC-PCFX core but it does not see any of my games? wondering if maybe its retroarch settings?
