colonelsnow Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I am trying to get Ledblinky working with Steam. When I launch the Steam wheel the default button lighting that I configured for it lights up. However, when I launch a game the lights go out.
arzoo Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Did you try the troubleshooting app to see if it can help identify the problem?
colonelsnow Posted April 13, 2014 Author Posted April 13, 2014 Did you try the troubleshooting app to see if it can help identify the problem? I tried that, but a debug log is not created even though I have it turned on in settings.
arzoo Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 So the troubleshooting app is telling you there's no debug.log file? And you've check the Debug Log and Verbose options in the Misc Options tab?
colonelsnow Posted April 13, 2014 Author Posted April 13, 2014 So the troubleshooting app is telling you there's no debug.log file? And you've check the Debug Log and Verbose options in the Misc Options tab? Correct. I have both checked and it is not creating a log. The message that I got initially is that the log file it found was created 3/11/14. When no new one would be created I deleted the 3/14 log file but still no log file.
colonelsnow Posted April 13, 2014 Author Posted April 13, 2014 So the troubleshooting app is telling you there's no debug.log file? And you've check the Debug Log and Verbose options in the Misc Options tab? I got it to create a log file finally by cycling off and on in the ledblinky config. However, when I try and use the troubleshooting app it gives an "access violation error" when trying to read the log
colonelsnow Posted April 13, 2014 Author Posted April 13, 2014 After restarting the PC and trying the troubleshooter again, the troubleshooter will run. Here is what it reports "FE_START event can only be fired one time"
arzoo Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 If you email me the debug.ZIP file I'll take a look.
colonelsnow Posted April 15, 2014 Author Posted April 15, 2014 I realized that I was not on the current version of ledblinky. I upgraded and the problems went away. Thanks for the help.
