demonseed Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 Hey Guys, (possibly solved) just testing I use a MS xbox 360 wireless game pad for HS and games and I am having serious annoying issues. Ok, so originally I had the rear right trigger set as ESC in Joy2Key. I used ESC to exit all emulators and to go back in to HS menu. Well I really wanted to use the trigger for games so I decided to go into Joy2Key and set the rear right trigger now to T and not ESC. I did it for my _default, rocektlauncherUI and HS configuration file files. In HS menu it works, but here is the issue.... When I select a game with X button, before it loads the game wheel goes bananas and spins out of control. Secondly in the game if I hit the rear trigger which should be "T" however it exits back to HS?? I do not want that to happen. When I return to HS the wheel goes bananas again and spins out of control. In Hyper HQ I have EXIT set to T. I was under the understanding that those controls are for HS MENU only?? am I wrong? Also I do use the startup script to load Joy2key. I also have checked my GLOBAL exit key in rocket launcher and I have deleted them all. I have it set to hold the number 5 key for 2 seconds. I have tested this and it works, however the rear right trigger continues to exit emulators? Is there a ini or setting somewhere I have missed?. I would appreciate any help! this is extremely frustrating. ** so I deleted the xboxstat program which seems too help stop the wheel running crazy.....*** **Also think I solved the EXIT issues!! just doing some further testing, but it appeared that RETROARCH had the exit key set to +5 on my gamepad, which was the same key I had set to ESC. SO even though it was now T it had it as the button on the game pad. I set exit_emulator_gamepad="+5" to "nul" seems to work.. My guess is that any emulator I set the exit key with the game pad I will have to change, Luckily most are on Retroarch so I had to edit the configuration files... seems to work,
