bacchuspup Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Hi all, I unsuccessfully tried to find an answer to this - hoping for some help. I recently bought a new computer, and I'm working through transferring my Hyperspin setup to it. I can no longer navigate through the Hyperspin menu. Using Device Manager, I've confirmed that the controller is working fine. It also works fine in MAME and RocketLauncher (I set up one of the buttons to exit an emulator). I also checked Hyper HQ. I remapped the controller in Controls>Joystick>Player 1, and made sure I checked the "Enabled" box. And here's the really weird part. When I enter Hyperspin, the introductions starts. I can cut it short by pressing a button on the controller, so I know it's being recognized. But then I can't use the analog stick to navigate, nor will any button work. Anyone have any ideas? All I can find on internet searches is how to use Joytokey (or another mapping program) to map the controller to keys. My understanding is that this wasn't necessary any more...? I have no recollection of having to do it on my other computer. Thanks!
jfp Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Could be many reasons for this, controller is on wrong port, mapper is running in the background eg vjoy drivers etc. If i were u id just set it up with xpadder a bit tedious but will work well. use user functions Quote C:\Rocketlauncher\Lib\Classes\UserFunction to close/start it when choosing a game. use startup program in hyperhq to start it at boot..
