mamefan Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 It's loading the RL bezel, but it briefly shows a large window that disappears every time I load a game that uses a RL bezel. Is there a way to make the window not be visible at all? This is happening while still in HyperSpin, just before MAME loads.
Avar Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 Have you tried toggling the various hide dekstop/frontend/etc options in RLUI?

Avar Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 In your HyperHQ settings do you have a program set to launch on entering or exiting HyperSpin?
Avar Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Depending on the system/emulator, this could be normal. Are you using fade? I don't use bezels personally so I've not encountered the issue.

Avar Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Fade allows RocketLauncher to run loading and exit screens before and after games that look nice and clean up the transition from FE to game, making it smoother. Try enabling Fade In and Fade Out in the Global -> Fade - General menu. Different systems sometimes load temp windows just by their nature and fade smooths everything out.

This only happens with RL bezels. When I'm using MAME bezels in the artwork folder, there are no pop-up windows.
Avar Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 There might be some additional information on the RL forums themselves. I don't use bezels at present and I'm not at my rig to test but I remember having a lil trouble setting them up when I tried them last year. I think the fix to your issue is as simple as toggling the right setting though and hopefully fade helps.

I also got HLSL working, and everything looks much better on my 48" LCD. It was so pixelated before.
Avar Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Awesome. The pause screen and HyperPause can be customized as you'd like and it's a great way of browsing system/game specific media and wiki-style descriptions/synopses so it's definitely worth running like that. Glad I could help.
