Mame roms and running in hypersspin

JUst wanted to ask a question without sounding too complicated. This is the example i will give if I try running 1943 in Hyperspin i get errors like bme01.12d and forces me out of that game, and then I will run another game 1942 and it runs perfectly. And now to really complicate things if I run this ROM through Mame emulator its fine runs as it should. Also, I use mame 1.53 

 

Any help would be appreciated

I think we're going to need some more info. Would you post some screenshots?

You're missing some required ROMs, which sound like BIOS ROMs.

When you have a split set, you're going to need BIOS ROMs and/or parent ROMs (if trying to run a clone). Read this: http://docs.mamedev.org/usingmame/aboutromsets.html

Thanks griffin I did read those articles and in the end, I got my problem fixed the easiest way for me was getting a newer version of the rom set that I was using i went from 0.153 to 0.18 and everything I try and run they all work perfectly. So problem solved.
