The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

I am working on my first Hyperspin related project, and recently added wheels for the Atari 2600 and Game Boy. I have been encountering problems installing system default themes for the two systems. Despite having placed the theme zip files in the correct folders for the system and naming them "Default", they do not appear on the Main Menu wheel or the system's sub-wheels, leaving an unappealing blue text and black space in both locations. Are there any other settings that I need to tweak to allow the themes to activate?

Thank you for your help!

Main Menu Themes for systems Go here: c:\Hyperspin\Media\Main Menu\Themes\SystemName.zip

For Atari 2600 it would be "Atari 2600.zip"

System Specific Themes go here: c:\Hyperspin\Media\<system name>\Themes

For Atari 2600 in would be c:\hyperspin\media\atari 2600\Themes\default.zip

The blue for games on the subwheel is wheel art. Wheel art is per system and goes in c:\Hyperspin\Media\<system name>\Images\Wheel

For Atari 2600 it would be c:\Hyperspin\Media\Atari 2600\Images\Wheel\<image.png)

Image.png matches your rom names. So if you have a rom Called Pitfall the image name would be Pitfall.png for the wheel image.

hope that helps and good luck! Welcome to the forums!
