jamesparady17 Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Hello, I am a new user as of yesterday. Forgive me if I missed something stupid, but I watched all the tutorials from this site and browsed the forums. I tried everything but no go. My issue is I cant get any game to show up in HS. I can launch through RLUI but not through HS. When I click on NES or MAME (the only 2 I setup) in the wheels, it "tries" to open MAME or NES but just goes back to the systems menu again. If I click on a system I HAVE NOT setup, it views the games!! why? something must be wrong setup in RLUI? Here is my setup and everything to answer any basic questions: * On local C drive I have a HyperSpin folder and a separate RocketLauncher folder so it is not a issue with any "cross platform mixups" HyperSpin settings .ini file below: [Main] Menu_Mode=multi Single_Mode_Name=MAME Enable_Exit_Menu=true Enable_Exit=true Exit_Default=yes Exit_Action=exit Version=1.0.0.0 Last_System=Nintendo Entertainment System Hyperlaunch_Path=C:\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncher.exe * Confirmed HS v is 1.4 * RLUI v is 1.0.1.10 * HS is default and active frontend (linked to .exe file) * Using Nestopia v1.40 for NES, MAME 0.184 Attached below is a screenshot of HyperHQ settings, RLUI settings for global and NES. Maybe a second eye can help me. (Downloaded 2 games for trial only because when I downloaded a ROM pack when changing the files names per the official tutorials, the program froze half way through so deleted them.) Please help!
Avar Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Under Navigation/Themes is Wheel Filters set to "Roms Only?" If so, you'll see the behaviour you've described w/e the system's Rom Path hasn't been set in HyperHQ.
jamesparady17 Posted May 29, 2017 Author Posted May 29, 2017 Sweet, that fixed the issue. Now that we fixed that, how can I just have the roms I have in there show? Right now I only have 2 but just trying to figure out the system before I continue. I added the rom path (see below) and re-checked the "ROMS only" and "Parent only" in HyperHQ but the same thing happened when I re-launched HS.
