    The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

    We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

after various problems i have two hyperspins installed on my  two different pc for mamecab

there is only one problem

i cant choose.scroll up or down the games by letters in  mame(i have only this emulator) with 29990 roms

i can't choose the genre, i can  navigate in the wheel menu-but when i  hold right or left  the joystick  ,it shows to me a question mark (?) e i cant choose the letter

i have downloaded also the last xml of mame 186

i m actually using a mame 32 144 and a mame 174 64bit

and problem is on both the systems

initially when i was setting  up  hyperspin  i have not got this problem..

Do you have "Use XML Indeces" set in HyperHQ for the wheel and does your xml copy have the jump point letters defined?

Yeah so the problem is as expected. There's nothing indexed. To fix it, just go to the first game for each number and letter and set index = "true" and image ="<whatever the letter or number is>"

So for 1, image = "1" and for q image ="q"

No problem. Yeah the latest mame ones can sometimes be missing them until the database team has a whack at it but at least it's an easy fix :D

mmmh it is strange...the problem is unsolved

there is the possibility that..if i jump one letter(then i made a new control) the jump letter is no function..

if u have time then could you pass a compled xml?

I don't have 0.186 as I've just come from the Arctic where I wasn't unable to update MAME for some years due to the download size :P But here are examples:

<game name="005" index="true" image="0">

<game name="1on1gov" index="true" image="1">

<game name="qberttst" index="true" image="q">

W/e the first game is for each letter, that's the one you index.

also once your database is working make sure you press and hold your,

"skip up" or "skip down" buttons while in a system wheel not the main menu wheel

or is it the

"skip up num" and "skip down num" buttons?

cant remember

then you can use your "up" "down" to cycle through the letters

:)
