ci2own Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 Hi! Does someone know why TAB key in MAME Emulator doesn't work on some systems? For example: Atari 8-Bit, Apple II, Amstrad CPC, Acorn Electron, Aamber Pegasus, etc. It seems not to work with Computer systems. Is there a way to know the keys to use with each game?

The Scroll Lock key will toggle full and partial emulation. Partial emulation will allow you to use the Tab menu and the other hotkeys. Great! I've been searching about it and couldn't find the solution. So the best is to configure keyboard as primary control and check the keys unlocking the MAME Menu?
ci2own Posted June 21, 2017 Author Posted June 21, 2017 I did a little bit more or research and you can turn off this "lock" feature following this steps: 1.- Run a console by going to Windows Menu > Exec program > type "cmd". 2.- Go to your MAME emulator folder and type "mame64.exe" or "mame.64" to run the MAME User Interface Menu 3.- Go to "Configure Options" and then "Advanced Options" and Turn On "UI Active" 4.- Go back to main menu, Save and Exit. With this steps you shouldn't need to pres ScrLock to unlock TAB key for MAME Menu.
