MAME "Tab" key doesn't work on some systems

Hi! Does someone know why TAB key in MAME Emulator doesn't work on some systems? 

For example:

Atari 8-Bit, Apple II, Amstrad CPC, Acorn Electron, Aamber Pegasus, etc.

 

It seems not to work with Computer systems.

 

Is there a way to know the keys to use with each game?

Great! I've been searching about it and couldn't find the solution.

So the best is to configure keyboard as primary control and check the keys unlocking the MAME Menu?

I did a little bit more or research and you can turn off this "lock" feature following this steps:

 

1.- Run a console by going to Windows Menu > Exec program > type "cmd".

2.- Go to your MAME emulator folder and type "mame64.exe" or "mame.64" to run the MAME User Interface Menu

3.- Go to "Configure Options" and then "Advanced Options" and Turn On "UI Active"

4.- Go back to main menu, Save and Exit.

 

With this steps you shouldn't need to pres ScrLock to unlock TAB key for MAME Menu.
