avidsonicfan1991 Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 I'm trying to build up a Dreamcast library, and NullDC worked out perfectly with .cdi files, but .gdi files are JUNK on there! Here, after the startup animation, the program immediately closes with "NullDC has stopped working"! At the same time, I tried DEmul just for a LESS painful Dreamcast experience, but when I tried to insert ANY game (EDIT: After tweaking something, it reads .cdi files, but this problem still applies to .gdi files!), it just takes me to the BIOS menu as if I had not inserted any disc in there! CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME FIND A WAY TO GET A DREAMCAST EMULATOR WORKING ON HERE!??!?!?!?!
avidsonicfan1991 Posted July 28, 2017 Author Posted July 28, 2017 UPDATE: After looking at how gdi files work, I decided I had to put ALL the files from that gdi into the same roms folder. I started the emulator again, and the game did launch! I will try to figure out what to do next since I don't want to have to constantly rename parts of gdi files because of having the same name...
