bzeeb Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 Followed @SIMPLYAUSTIN guide here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Lq6Zb3782Q I have a EU copy of Guardian Heroes and Three Dirty Dwarves, and when I load them up it looks like the bottom part of the screen is cut off. Is there some NTSC vs PAL setting or something I need to set so the resolution will be proper? Or do I need non-eu versions of these games? EDIT: I ended up swapping the area code in SSF Options to Europe and restarting it, last time I didn't restart it - that's why the bottom was getting cut off.
DJWatson Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 No. Set your Full Screen resolution to your exact desktop resolution. , then relaunch the game. Open SSF and CTL+S or ALT+S can't exactly remember though.
bzeeb Posted July 28, 2017 Author Posted July 28, 2017 Where would I tweak this? Here's an example of what it looks like for me, you can see the H getting cutoff - it shouldn't. This happens even if maximized (ALT+Enter)
bzeeb Posted July 28, 2017 Author Posted July 28, 2017 I did open the ccd in an older copy of SSF and it worked fine. So it some setting im missing here... EDIT: See top post for solution Also it looks a lot nicer, SSF Beta 007 R5. However it has trouble detecting xbox360 d-pad unlike the newer one. How do I remove the smoothing to the graphics its trying to do (not as crisp lines etc). EDIT: Unchecking Bilinear Filtering seemed to increase the sharpness of the pixels
