t-maxxracer32 Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Hey all, Currently I have Project64 working great and started working on MAME... this has been a pain. I got .151 (renamed .152) to work fine but for whatever reason could not get many games to work for it... I have the .122u emulator running perfect outside of hyperspin-all games are great... When swapping out .151 for .122u i get the following: Error: unkown option: -nohlsl_enable. I tried looking for this code line but could not locate it... does it look familiar to anyone? This error pops up when ran through hyperlaunchhq, hyperlaunch, and hyperspin. Also a bit after this error pops up, the error: there was an error waiting for the window "ahk_class mame" etc etc..... I figure once I get .122u running then this fade error will be fixed. Thank you for any help with this... for all I know I may need a new ahk file? Maybe .122u just doesnt work...???
Agrajag Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 I suggest you update to MAME 0.153 and also update your ROMs to match this. You must use the correct set of ROMs for the particular version of MAME you are running. HyperSpin behaving oddly? Read about known bugs here: http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/topic/4590-known-bugs-and-handy-hints-for-hyperspin/ The installer for HyperSpin now includes HyperLaunch 2. t-maxxracer32 Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 I was hoping to not have to do that... I have had terrible luck with getting the Roms I want to work.
t-maxxracer32 Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 With some tweaking I finally got .152 to work great with all roms. Still am curious as to the issue with .122u but .152 will work fine.
