Half Life 2 Survivor Issue

Hey all, i did post this earlier in the off topic section, thought i might get some more eyes on it posting here. Once again, mods please delete this if it falls foul of forum rules. Used to have HL2:S setup through RL using DXwin, to get it to run full screen, at some point this stopped working, so i started running it with gameloader all RH which works great except for the fact that every time i run it, it changes my Steam language to Japanese (in the registry). If anyone knows what might be causing this, id love to know because ive been struggling with this one for quite some time. Cheers!
