Quick question, when assigning jtk to a system ie mame or atari 2600 in rocketlauncheui key mapper, do I add emulator profile, game profile or system profile in the key mapper tab?, I'm assuming game profile is for individual games.

Your best to use system profile so that every game for the system uses the same profile. Emulator profile is ok if the emulator in question is for a single system but you might run into problems with emulators that play games from multiple systems, and yes, game profile is for specific games
