The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Xpadder quit on exit

I am using Xpadder to allow me us use an Xbox 360 controller with HyperSpin. The program works fine until I quit from an emulator (Stella) back into the system menu in HyperSpin. At that point Xpadder seems to close itself automatically, making the controller useless. Do any of you have an idea what might be causing this problem?

When asking for help for RocketLauncher, please post your HyperLaunch.log with logging level set to troubleshooting. You can set the logging level to troubleshooting in HyperLaunchHQ in the global system under General Settings -> HyperLaunch. To post the log copy ALL of the contents of the log and paste it either into your post or a pastebin link.

Thank you,

Sorry about that. The problem has changed slightly since I last posted. Xpadder is now crashing when I exit a game and throwing the error "AutoProfileScan failed to stop." This crash also leaves my dashboard and pointer hidden, requiring me to log off and on again to bring them back.

The troubleshooting text is as follows:

Do you have any suggestions regarding what might be wrong?

You may not want to hear this but the version of xpadder you are using is over 5 years old. I suggest getting a more recent version from mid 2012 or later. Updating xpadder usually fixes this issue. There was a bug with the command line that was fixed in the 2012 version. It also wouldn't hurt to update RocketLauncher using git.
