PCSX2 Works great but in RL slow...>?

Hey Guys

I just download the newest stable version of PCSX2... Ran it outside of RL and HS and it runs great for my computer.  I set it up for HS however when I run it through RL or HS it lags badly and is choppy? I am not understanding this, and was hoping someone could help me.  Is it a setting in the module or something?  I do not understand.  Running PCSX2 1.40 stable version.  I noticed in RL the moduel is 2.1.6 and is for Emu versionGit-20150807??  My RL asks for updates however I do not want to update everything as all other things running well.. just this ps2 thing I can not get to work. runs great outside of HS and RL.

In pcsx2 i have my video processing set to DXD11 (software) if its hardware runs laggy... could that be the issue? In the module I manually tried setting on the plugins but didnt help.

 

I hope this makes sense..
