I began with a much older version of hyperspin. I use xpadder to control the interface. My question is in this latest version I now have is xpadder required to control the front end. Just curious.

hyperspin did not evolved that much on the last years, and the joy bug is still there, so you are going to need xpadder to use a gamepad still on hyperspin.

The only thing around here, code related, that have a continuous evolution is HyperLaunch. That is in a completely different league about bug fixes and improvements.
