The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

So i have for a long time been having issue with my Hyperspin setup .. Ideally the machine its on needs to run 24/7 in attract mode but over the course of 24hrs the hyperspin interface seems to become slow, and unusable. You can still hear audio from the video playing in the background but the UI and wheel selection stops updating, and the rest of the screen is effectively frozen.

To remove and custom changes i made i have tried a total fresh install of Hyperspin no emulators just a clean hyperspin.exe (Latest version 1.4.16 also tried 1.3.3) but its still happening! .. anyone got any tips or ideas why this is happening .. (i thought it could be memory leak, but the memory usage by hyper-spin does not creep up, after its first hour of usage it seems to hold steady).

Check your Windows power settings maybe and make sure you aren't putting any disks to sleep.

Or maybe the other way round, set Windows to hybernate after X amount of time (it should wake on a bluetooth connection - ie: activate a controller)

You could also create a batch file to taskkill everything and reload it, then set up a Windows scheduled task to run that file every couple of hours...

Ultimately I think leaving it on and running 24/7 sounds like a bad idea, in my opinion.
