Unable to add new games to wheel despite editing XML files

Ok, so I've got my US PlayStation games up and running using Retroarch. They all appear on my Hyperspin PSX wheel and run great. I've decided to add some Japanese games like Speed King, Policenauts, Gunner's Heaven, Snatcher, etc. I've got them in my RL database and they run great through Rocketlauncher. However, no matter what I do I can't get them to appear in Hyperspin on my PSX wheel. I've edited all the XML files in both the Hyperspin and Rocketlauncher folders using Notepad++ and made sure the file names are correct. I've even used ROM2XML to create new XML files but it doesn't work. I've seen someone mention having the correct CRCs in another thread but none of my XMLs have CRCs listed. Any ideas?

The games don't appear in the PlayStation wheel from within hyperspin? Do you have your wheel filtered by wheel art in HyperHQ? If so it won't display the games until you add the missing wheel art for those games

Do the new games appears in Rocketlauncher when you do an audit? Do they appear in the wheel but as text only? If yes then the images are not correct / missing as the images simply replace the text.

You do know you have to put the images in the wheel folder for each machine and name them the same as the name in the database.

Without screenshots is difficult to know what to do.

Are the rom extensions different then the your other ps1 games? I.e. bin/cue and if they are different rom extensions make sure they are listed in HyperHQ.

If it is bin/cue extension open up the cue file with notepad or other text editing software and make sure the bin file on the first line is spelled correctly

Also check for both capital letters in both the rom names and extensions

Yes, the new games appear in Rocketlauncher when I do an audit and they launch fine. The games are completely playable but only from Rocketlauncher. When I use Hyperspin the games do not appear in the PlayStation wheel at all. No text or anything. They simply do not appear. Like I said, I've edited the XML files to include the games and made sure the names are correct.

There's no reason to have xmls in the RL folder, you only need them in the HS folder. If they're in the HS xml and not showing then you have somme sort of filter on as that's the only thing that will hide games present in the xml.

Figured it out. Turned out that I overlooked one of the filters after all. Thanks everyone!
