Hi guys,

I am trying to run mame in widescreen and did so by changing the following when opening the application Mameuifx32 0.175.1

Unchecked enforce aspect ratio

Enable widescreen stretch

This works perfect when I load a game from mamuifx, however when I load a game via Mame on Rocket launcherr or hyperspin, it goes back to normal and no longer displays the games in widescreen

I thought Hyperspin/Rocket Launcher would at least replicate the settings in the mame.exe

What am I doing wrong? Please help

Thanks

Hi,

This is working great for mame however when I run another wheel such as cap om classics which uses the same emulator ut does not display these settings even though I applies -noka in the parameter, is there a way I can enable the same on my neo geo and capcom classics wheel please?

Thanks so much

I'm not sure why when run from RLUI your ini settings aren't being respected. Agent's solution will certainly work, but I do not use that parameter on my setup and I do not have any issues.

I also use MameUI64 though. Maybe it's a directory issue. I seem to recall MAME utilizing different directories for the ini depending on whether or not I ran a game directly from MAME, or from RocketLauncher. So, I have a couple of questions.

1. In your MAME module settings, in the MAME (or specific system) tab, do you have a IniPath specified? I do *not* on my end, but perhaps you could try that, and point it specifically to your MAME ini.

2. Have you checked to see if there are multiple sets of ini files being stored in different directories? I seem to recall being able to specify which set of ini's get used from MameUI64, using it's GUI.

Here's screenshots of my MAME module settings for you. Again, my ini settings are respected (I've specifically tested the 'stretch' settings you described earlier), unless I mess with module settings. Hopefully this will help you figure something out.

Just to be clear also, how are you achieving your stretched games in regular MAME? By altering the ini, or by using a setting in the GUI?

I do it by altering the ini. The specific setting you need to change is Core Render Options/keepaspect                0

Note also that I use a file called horizont.ini, so that only horizontal games are affected. If you have not specifically created a file called horizont.ini, then the file you would need to alter will be called mame.ini

Hi

I fixed the issue, it seemed that the wheels that were not displaying such as Capcom classics, had to be set mame on a different directory to the mame emulator.... even though I specified the directories to both capcom classics and mame roms in maeuifx ui

Thanks again guys, appreciate your help :)
