glitch77 Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Hello everyone! I am having an issue where when I launch GroovyMame from a command line, it selects the correct video mode, like this: But when I launch it via HyperSpin, it selects a semi-random res, like this: In my mame.ini, I have "refresh_dont_care 1" and "lock_system_modes 0" set, so that's not it. I also posted this on the GroovyMame forums, but haven't gotten a reply yet. Though soemone here may have some insight! Thanks!
glitch77 Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 -- FIXED -- I set up HyperLaunch (I wasn't using it before), and it now switches resolutions perfectly!
Nocturnaloner Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 I'm curious about your setup - are you using an arcade monitor? What resolution are you running Hyperspin at?
vincefaro Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 I have a similar problem with Hyperspin and GroovyMame, I am running a Windows 7, ATI 4550 card , and I have Hyperspin 1.4 . When I run Groovymame from the shell it works perfectly changing resolutions for everygame. But when I run it in Hyperspin , the resolution stays at 640x480 , and I dont see the switchres unde game information when I try to call it up . Can anyone help? Thanks
