probably a topic thats been covered multiple times but i just cant find the answer...

im trying to launch my Wii U games.

i was getting errors in RL so i am now trying to launch them without RL.

when i select a game it appears nothing happens, but ive figured out that Cemu does launch if i look in the details section of Task manager. the program does not show up on my computer though.

Cemu works fine if i double click the EXE.

does anyone know why this would happen? is it just my PC or is it hyperspin?

the log seems fine. but ill add it anyway.

made some progress...

RL is getting errors when launching the lnk (shortcut) file.  its weird though because cemu loads these fine. even when i launch the game from the RL audit page it loads fine. its only when attempting it through hyperspin.

not sure whats going on with hyperHQ, piece of crap still wont even launch the emulator.

i guess ill add 100 rom directories to RL for a temp fix.

if anyone knows whats going on with RL not launching my lnk file then please let me know. keep in mind it actually does launch through RocketlauncherUI. but doesnt launch through hyperspin.exe when selecting a game. i get 'file type unknown' error

Hmmm...

Maybe if you select your system Wii (in RocketLauncherUI menu), then enter to settings menu and in the final appear a option call "Skip Checks", try to put this on Rom Extension.

Don't forget check too if your .ini settings (in HyperSpin folder, Setting folder) for Wii are ok, in romextension should be lnk, or zip or something valid. I hope this fix your "problem". If not, just be patient, don't rage quit and keep trying :D
