hyperlaunch 3, upgrading my 2 year old build

Hello to everyone I havent talked to in forever, hope all is well, I just decided to start a new thread with a more fitting title, and hopefully people will find it usefull for tips on hl 3 upgrading with an old system.

I am fairly decent with working knowledge of everything hyperspin except hl 3

I have a build that took about 1600 hours to build and perfectly edit between 2010 and 2013

If its ok...I would like to use this thread to help some us old timers who have been out of the loop for quit some time....questions to follow

So I have made some progress, I have spent about 18 hours with hl 3 so far, and I managed to get 1 system almost completely switched over, im currently working with genesis.

Ive got rom and emu paths set up, games launch, emu was reset to defaults for some reason, I got it back to widescreen settings and controls in emu reprogrammed and they stay.

My current problem is the xpadder with xbox controller, profiles are set, global and for system...but when I try to launch game...it tries to reopen xpadder or something...and 1 of 2 things happen.

Either it wont launch game at all, or an xpadder window pops up that says, xpadder is already running in another instance, please close and try again.

Ive tried this making sure xpadder is and isnt already started before hs launch, and currently my xpadder is not set to start with windows start up

Anybody else encounter this?
