About half of my Mame themes won't load

I've downloaded pretty much all the Mame themes I can find but for whatever reason, about half of them just simply don't load.  Others load fine.  I have animate out/reload both checked in HyperHQ and I'm sure the themes are "good" and placed properly.

It's just that a lot of them don't load when I'm on the wheel.

I've tried a few different Mame databases, too.

I don't know where else to look??
