miamimabi Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Hello, I seem to be having a problem with the way Hyperspin and Project64 end up exiting. I cant put in a picture or link in the post because of my post count sorry D: So, whenever im in a game of the Project64 emulator and i press the esc key to exit im left with a window of project 64 and the game is still running, all that happens when you press esc is that it takes you out of full screen mode, but i want it to completely close down. Note:I also noticed that there is no Exit button or hotkey that you can put in. Can someone help me find a way for that window to close there for also closing the game that is being played? Please and thank you.
Dazz Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Do you have HyperLaunch enabled for your Nintendo 64 settings in HyperHQ?
Greff Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Go into options > settings > options and then uncheck hide advanced settings box, from there you can go into the advanced settings under keyboard shortcuts and reassign the exit button to whatever key you want, default it is set at alt-f4 hope this helps
miamimabi Posted January 22, 2011 Author Posted January 22, 2011 Dazz, I don't think i do, because i really don't know how to do that, and also when i try to open hyperlaunch something pops up saying.. ( Usage: Hyperlaunch.ahk/exe "system Name" "Rom" ) And i don't know how to fix that.. Also, let me see if Greffs way works.
miamimabi Posted January 22, 2011 Author Posted January 22, 2011 Greff your way worked, but.... it only works for keyboards.. i need to know how to make it work with a button on a cab.
dieputodie Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Is there a way to do it with ver. 1.6 as Keyboard shortcuts are only available in 1.7 which seems to be a little unstable compared to 1.6
skidelo Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Better yet, can you exit a ROM emulation by pressing a button combo on the controller? Would you have to use xpadder to map the controller to keyboard shorcuts? I've never used xpadder but it seems like a lot of people use it?
fireslayer26 Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Go into options > settings > options and then uncheck hide advanced settings box, from there you can go into the advanced settings under keyboard shortcuts and reassign the exit button to whatever key you want, default it is set at alt-f4hope this helps I did exactly this, but it still takes Alt-F4 to exit......
