Good day. This is a bit of a tricky one, so I thought I would reach out to a couple of subs and see if anyone can lend me a hand.

TLRD - LEDBlinky will only start and light up my controls once MAME has loaded, but not when the FE (Hyperspin) first loads.

This is probably more of a LEDBlinky issue, but thought someone here might be able to help.

 

I'm building a bartop arcade cabinet. I have a PC in it, running Hyperspin.

I have RGB lit buttons and joysticks.

I'm using an IPAC Ultimate input controller.

I'm using LEDBlinky to control my RGB lights

I'm using RocketLauncher to control Hyperspin.

Without going into too much detail for the moment (settings etc.. I can provide later when I can) here is my issue:

I have hyperspin, Rocketlauncher (via RocketLauncherUI) and LEDBlinky all set up. I've set up LEDBlinky to react and change the button colours for my MAME games, and they work. Great.

However, LEDBlinky does not start when I start Hyperspin. It ONLY starts once I have loaded the first MAME game.

I've set LEDBlinky animations for FE Start, Running and Quit animation, but the Quit animation doesn't run and when I close Hyperspin, the LEDs stay lit.

I have created a Hyperspin Startup Script and set LEDBlinky to start and close when it does. But when I run Hyperspin, it doesn't run the Startup animation for my buttons. However, if I select a MAME game, then the start up animation plays and the buttons map to the MAME game. When I quit the game to the FE, LEDBlinky does go back to the Running animation, but when I quit Hyperspin, it doesn't run the quit animation.

I've tried manually launching LEDBLinky before running Hyperspin, but still get the same issue.

I can provide more specific details later (as I'm not at home at the moment) but wondered if any of the above sounds familiar to anyone and if you could advise me.
